Tone Classifier

The Tone Classifier classifies your data based on the writing tone used in each document. This classifier helps you understand and organize content by how it's written, making it easier to maintain consistent communication across your materials.

Configuration

This classifier shares all of the common classifier configuration options, with the exception of "Allowed tags." Since you select the specific tones to classify, you control what tone categories can be applied directly through the Tones setting. In addition, the configuration also contains the following setting:

Tones to classify

This setting allows you to choose which writing tones you want to classify your data into. You can select from predefined tone groups:

• Formal, Neutral, Casual - Classify content by formality level

• Encouraging, Factual, Cautionary - Classify content by emotional approach

• Friendly but Professional - Classify content that balances warmth with professionalism. If content does not fit into this category, it is tagged as "Other".

Additional tones are available for enterprise customers at your request.

The classifier analyzes your content and assigns the most appropriate tone category based on the language and style used in each document.
